Together with Issue Editor Dr. Marwan Fakin and a group of excellent experts, Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology has published a focus issue to discuss about targeted therapies in Colorectal Cancer on the status, the comparison with the VEGF, EFGR, etc, the resistance, and the efficacy in September 2013.

In this issue, we review the efficacy data behind the FDA approved targeted agents in colorectal cancer, their confirmed and suspected mechanisms of resistance, potential causes of failure in the adjuvant and neoadjuvant settings, special considerations in the surgical settings, and management of associated dermatological toxicities.
