Announcing a Clinical Trial: Proton Therapy for Cancer of the Esophagus

Published: 2013-08-15

Proton therapy is a very precise form of radiation therapy. It spares healthy tissue and thus may help deliver more effective treatment to the site of disease. This study is designed to find out if using protons will improve treatment for cancers of the esophagus.

If you have recently been diagnosed with esophageal or esophagogastric junction cancer you will want to know all your options, including finding out if this proton therapy study is right for you.
